I left the comfort of the corporate world (I was in international marketing at 20th Century Fox) in 2009 to pursue photography.  Up until 2017, my efforts were focused more on live music, events, and portraiture (humans), but in the summer of 2017 I began focusing on pets, and I realized that was my true calling. Animals have always been a true love of mine, and once I started working with pets it became very clear to me that this is what I’m meant to be doing!

My love and respect for animals has always played an important role in my life. I appreciate the unique qualities of each individual, and I truly love having the ability to connect with them to capture the essence of who they are.  Hearing you say, "yes, you nailed it! That's my baby, right there!" makes my heart sing.

My passion for capturing the personality of our furry friends started when I was 7 years old. Our dog Missy had puppies, and I was hopelessly in love with one particular puppy that I named “Cuddles.”  I spent every waking moment I could with him, but knew that he would soon be going to his forever home. I had just received my first little point and shoot camera, and I wanted to remember his unique personality before he was adopted. It became my mission to capture images that truly spoke to who he was, and what he meant to me (see image below). I love that I now provide that kind of imagery for others.

My 2 dogs (Lulu and Kikay) remind me every day how profound our love & connection with our fur family is. It means so much to me that I can play a part in celebrating the legacy of your fur family.

Animals deserve to be honored, and I love that I get to do just that.
